Introducing: 30% off The Debt Princess

January 25, 2012

I’ve had enough!

I’m tired of being overweight, out of shape and generally unhealthy!

I want to take control of my weight rather than let it control me. It’s time I stop being lazy and truly work at this.

Two years ago, I made this same commitment to my finances. I’ve done my very best to stick to that commitment. The main thing that has helped me to stick to it has been blogging and knowing that people were reading about it.

I’m going to take that same philosophy with my weight and take control!

And so today I present to you the beginning of the 30% Off challenge. I am going to work diligently to lose 30% of my body weight.

I am going to make dietary changes as well as physical ones. I need to exercise and I need to do it often.

I don’t plan to overload this blog with posts about my progress, maybe online a couple of times each month but I have created a community to talk about it.

If you are struggling with your weight, have managed to take it off and keep it off or if you just want to lend some kind words of support, join the community. I hope many of us will interact there to discuss our own journey with getting healthy.

Please take a look at the 30% Off tab found at the top of this page. There you will see updates on my progress that I am not necessarily blogging about.

I also blog at A Five Star Life. I write about anything that comes to mind but try to focus on finding the good in daily life.

Good luck! I’ve lost 30 pounds 3 times in my life (but I kept re-finding it..). It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s totally worth it. Looking forward to cheering you along!
